Black dress, catching perfume, expensive remarkable jewerly and mystical dark eyes. that’s the Arabic woman I adore.
I’ve always been passionate about their culture and traditions, I’ve always found them extremly mysterious and captivating and that’s why I became super excited when I got the chance to wear their traditional robe-dress, called abaya.
Sheikh Zayed Mosque, located in Abu Dhabi, is the largest mosque in the UAE. For 12 years, so many people have been working on this project, having the intention of making it a national icon. It has brought together designer features and materials from all over the world: Italy, Morocco, Germany, India, Turkey, Iran, China, Greece and of course, UAE. Its architecture and design are absolutely magnificent, as they used long-lasting qualities, like marble stone, gold, semi-precious stones, crystals and ceramics. The chandeliers are spectacular, incorporating millions of Swarovski crystals, the fascinating columns are reflected in the mirror pools along the arcades and the atmosphere is so calm and quiet.
Sheikh Zayed Mosque is definetly a place to visit if you happen to be in Abu Dhabi, it’s a place that can make you understand better their religion and their beliefs. Being huge and all white, it catches your attention and it is truly impressive and outstanding.
